Well, yesterday we officially celebrated Jetta's 1st birthday. It was great and we all had a very good time. She was full of smiles and entertainment. She loved her cake and managed to get plenty on her face in order to give us all the opportunity to take pics. Needless to say she got tons of gifts, more than any child her age needs, but everyone seems to love spoiling her.
Several friends came over to share in the fun and Grandma Peters is still here visting, so it was a special day. Once we got her all cleaned up, we let her play with some of her new toys. She seemed to really enjoy them.
She managed to stay awake for most of the afternoon (figure it had something to do with the sugar high from the cake) and then crashed for a bit before dinner. Once she woke up, she was still in the best mood and she continued to play with all of her new toys.
I'm gonna attach some pics from the day and hope you all enjoy them. Again, thanks to everyone for all the wonderful gifts, the well wishes and for just following along in our journey. I'm gonna post again later today, as I have a few other updates, but need to go wake her up from her morning nap and get ready to head out for the day.
